"What was weak though was the ease in which our customers could keep their systems up to date." Only because independent firms/people find the flaws in their software. With the funding/manpower that M$ has, it still shocks me that they have not implemented better practices in their software development. Sure, independent people find flaws in Linux/free software too, but much of the time it is small groups of people with virtually no funding that have to audit their own code. M$ could have droves of independent auditors overlooking their developer's work and find the flaws before the script kiddies and before the product hits the market. Just my two cents.
