As long as you aren't aiming for 3d hardware acceleration, any of the
ATI Radeon PCI 7000 and up cards should work fine.  Unfortunately the
Radeon drivers don't fully support the PCI ones, so you can't get 3d
hardware acceleration, but you can have 3d software acceleration and 2d
hardware acceleration.  I'm using a ATI Radeon 7500 with 32 megs vram on
my comp with JAMD 0.0.6 (Based on RH 9).  I'm satisfied.  Plus you can
get them for about $50 at CompUSA.
