Why wait till the meeting to discuss that? Sounds like a good idea. Printable small labels are available at Office Depot, etc. I suggest a sticker with the BRLUG logo and the URL underneath. Now we just need a volunteer to design the sticker, say 2"x3", and another volunteer to buy the stickers (we'll compensate you) and print out the labels.
However, be careful of "just giving them out". They will disappear very quickly at a tech expo. Since we aren't doing the normal booth thing and taking business cards, I suggest we make em "work" for it by talking about their interest in Linux and encouraging them to get involved with BRLUG. -----Original Message----- From: Dustin Puryear To: [email protected] Sent: 9/4/03 5:14 PM Subject: [brlug-general] Well, SuSE isn't playing around. I thought SuSE would send me some pamphlets and a few boxed sets. Nope. I have three big boxes at my door from UPS. I would estimate that they sent me 30 total boxed sets. At the lunch meeting let's talk about creating a sticker with the LUG name and URL to put on these when we give them out. --- Dustin Puryear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Puryear Information Technology, LLC <http://www.puryear-it.com> Providing expertise in the management, integration, and security of Windows and UNIX systems, networks, and applications. _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://brlug.net/mailman/listinfo/general_brlug.net
