The best I can suggest is get on google and search for "courir de mardi gras". Many of the locations and times are spread by word of mouth only to the locals, since they would like them to stay small. Some of the larger ones are advertised though. The last one I went to was in Iota. This one is called the tee-Mamou/Iota Mardi Gras. It is fairly popular and publicized. You can read about it here: http://www.lsue.edu/acadgate/iota.htm
