Look in the .mbx file for that mail folder. It is just a text file, and contains the actual messages. Chances are the messages are still there, just your .toc file is corrupted. Rename the toc file and start Eudora again. It either rebuilds the toc file automatically, or there is a menu option to rebuild it (i forget). In any event you can rebuild toc from mbx. If your mbx file is hosed, then you're screwed... ray -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ray DeJean http://www.r-a-y.org Systems Engineer Southeastern Louisiana University IBM Certified Specialist AIX Administration, AIX Support =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
