Ultra Monkey is basically Linux Virtual Server (LVS) packaged up as RPMS. You can read more about LVS at http://www.linux-vs.org or, better yet, attend my tutorial at USENIX LISA this year: http://www.usenix.org/events/lisa03/tutorials/tutmon.html#m1. http://www.puryear-it.com/news.htm#13 Between LVS and heartbeat (from the Linux-HA project) you can build a rather robust service. --- Dustin Puryear Puryear Information Technology, LLC http://www.puryear-it.com Providing expertise in the management, integration, and security of Windows and UNIX systems, networks, and applications.
