Jeremy: Before you install CygWin you might want to try using XP's sc
command - it will let you install a service. I haven't used it in a while so
I forget the syntax but "sc create help" from a cmd prompt should give you
the syntax.

John: I'm in the process of getting jabberd running on my redhat box and
running JAJC on an XP box.  Does that count?
