Looks GREAT!

Too bad it does not have a full key set. This is the reason I do not
think a separate keyboard ( with real piano keys ) and a laptop with the
right software can be replaced, and if so, it would be really expensive.
What is even worse that the good software is only availble in Windows
and Macintosh ( dunno about Be and Amiga ) :-(.

A project that I have been tracking Rosegarden, looks promising but then
again it has looked promising for years!

There is also a software that I have seen but do not remember the name,
lilypond I think. It works just like Linux users love their software.
You have to write files in something similar to Postcript or maybe XML
so that then it is interpreted by the program and creates the typeset of
the sheet music. It is cool but took me hours to write a few notes and
then I just gave up and never really saw it again, to much work!
