I just wanted to say that this meeting should be pretty cool. Ken is a good speaker and knowledgeable about his products. Just as a side note. I just got back from Brainshare on Friday. What a great conference. I don't have any other technology conferences to compare it too, but all in all I think they did a great job. Sammy Hagar played on Wednesday night exclusively for the Brainshare crowd, Linus Torvalds showed up on Monday (I have a picture with him!), I talked to Miguel de Icaza, I asked him which distro he runs on his desktop, he wouldn't tell me. I was able to walk around and talk with tons of developers of novell products and technical leads. I met with about 30 vendors of various products, HP, Xiotech, IBM and others. There were tons of give aways, like Segways, a 4 wheeler, ipods, servers,a laptop,a golden egg, etc, etc. And they had over 300 sessions available throughout the week. As well as time and a place to study for certification exams, Vue was there offering exams for half price. The list goes on and on. Here is some photos from Novell's website, I don't have mine posted yet. http://www.novell.com/news/press/pressroom/presskit/brainshare2004/photos.html Also, there are some great videos you guys should check out at: http://www.novell.com/brainshare/keynotes2004.html specifically the one titled "Lord of the Net" It's hilarious!
