Pale Face never went home.

Had pale face gone home, my people could return home.
Pale face occupies all of our lands. Pale Face has
Our Lands because we sold them, surrendered them, fled
them, and migrated.

I have no earthly idea who you are, or your actual
intent.

American's excel in picking nits. Especially in the
South where nits are still a major health issue. I
cannot describe the horror a young girl feels when she
is sent home because the school nurse found nits in
her hair (trust me on this one.)

I do get the feeeling that you are clumping 40 to 50
cultures, a million square miles, and many seperate
people that call themselves Americans under one
slender deffinition. You've never been here have you?

We live on land mass that can swallow the only
man-made object visible from space (a copper mine in
California), the Grand Canyon, four mountain ranges,
two of the world's 7 largest rivers, the world's best
trained military, some of the best research
universities, the most efficient and largest in-land
water-ports, and the best system of Government in the
history of the world; and you have trouble
understanding what we mean? Hey friend, Join the
Club!

We nit pick as a way of gropping for reason. We pick,
we poke, we dig, we argue. How else can we reach for
understanding? Conflict shows contrasts. We just
have to keep it civil. Arguing is fine. Arguements,
by deffinition are supposed to be civil.

Don't feel lost if you do not understand us. We do
not understand ourselves. We know we mean well, but
we seldom really understand what we mean.

I do not speak for my fellow Americans. I am simply
sharing my observations.

Peace, out.

Doug

=====
Warmest Regards,

Doug Riddle
An opptimist thinks the glass is half full. A pessimist thinks it is half
empty. A realist knows that someone is going to have to wash the glass. I am
a realist. I buy plastic drink cups.
