Just wanted to let you all know that I installed Xandros on my inlaws' computer about three weeks ago. They are loving it! All they use the computer for is email, internet and occasional word processing. Windows has always been a disaster for them no matter how much I tried to educate them about computer security and viruses. I used to fix their computer almost every weekend because of viruses, spyware and oter junk that would accumulate so easily on their PC. So one weekend I had enough - I installed Linux! It took me about an hour to install the OS, configure the firewall and setup their email. The printer setup was 100 times easier then in Windows. So, for three weeks in a row, I have not had any "incident reports" from them and they seem to be happy with their WORKING computer.
So, one household at a time, people learn that Window$ is not the only choice for your family computer. GT
