Like the linked EFF page notes:

"these recommendations apply to any business - Yahoo, Hotmail/MSN - that
offers both search and email services and can link the two. "

Are there any issues raised about privacy that does not apply to any ISP? Cox
sees all of my requests to Google, my wife's hotmail, my mail and everything
else I do that's not encrypted. Cox is indeed creepy, but I'm not about to
ignore mail to and from them any more that I avoid Hotmail. Well, OK, I'm
trying to move my wife from Hotmail's limted service to Gmail.

To sum it up, I trust Google more than I trust Cox, Hotmail or the Feds.
Hotmail, Cox, Yahoo and others might already be doing this. Carnivore will
do this if it does not already. It does not require that they give you
anything in return. Google has sworn that they will not do exactly what is
warned against.

I would not be surprised if the owner of that site,

Public Information Research

is one of these kinds of groups:

After all, Google is a Microsoft competitor and all the site does is FUD
Google and Yahoo.
