My wife, in her never-ending effort to rid my
laboratory of excess hardware, just informed me of
http://www.redstickfree.org, which recycles unwanted
items by finding someone who wants them.
I was planning to get rid of a lot of my unneeded
computer hardware on Ebay, but I was dreading the
effort involved in packaging and shipping the _many_
items I have. But since redstickfree.org deals with
connecting people in this local area with each other,
the shipping costs and effort go away.
Please note that redstickfree.org can be used to give
away all kinds of different items, such as books, CDs,
furniture, unruly children, etc.
