eMoviX has been doing that for a while long before this article came out. It's pretty neat, a nice menu comes up with a few options and it lets you play the movie. You have to have a fairly beefy machine to run it on. It wouldn't play on my P2 333 with 160MB of ram, but runs great on my 1ghz with 512MB. I tried it several months ago. I'm not sure which version I was on. It's a pretty cool project, but if I happen to have a machine lying around, the machine will probably have an OS on that can/will play whatever movie I want. No need to recreate all my movies with this new boot os/player. BB
