I just bought a compaq R3000Z with Broadcom BCM94306 802.11g which uses
bcmw15a.inf and bcmwl5a.sys.I installed fedora core 2 and followed the
instruction at
http://www.fedoranews.org/contributors/e_a_graham_jr/ndis/ worked
good. The only problem is that it takes around 10 seconds before it
finds any website. I am not sure where the problem is. Also the
connection is pretty slow.

This laptop also has nvidia gforce4 440 go. I installed the drivers from
nvidia and found some instructions on getting 1280x800
here(http://quanta.homeip.net/pipermail/linuxr3000/). The only problem
now is that the fonts are little bit fuzzy. its not really clear. Any
ideas what could be the problem?
my xorg.conf is posted here
