Howdy,

Michael Murray is making excellent progress with the
LTSP project, as you can read in his following report.

However, he needs some help with sound configuration
and installation of Scribus(?), which seems to be a
word processor of some kind. He will also need some
help with further tweaks such as firewall tuning and
security hardening. It looks like the system is
connected to the Internet, so remote administration is
possible.

If you are interested in helping out a great Linux
advocacy project right here in Louisiana, please join
the LTSP mailing list
(http://www.brlug.net/mailman/listinfo/ltsp_brlug.net)
and give us a shout.

If you don't know what the LTSP project is about, here
ya go:
LTSP - Louisiana Project Mailing List
The BRLUG LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project
(http://www.ltsp.org) mailing list exists to provide
an on-line community for BRLUG members to facilitate
the creation of Linux-based client-server systems
suitable for small computer labs and networks for
various educational, public and private institutions
in the state of Louisiana.

Thanks!
John Hebert
