Has anyone seen www.tinyurl.com yet?
It's a pretty cool idea.
You can create a tinyurl from any other url:
TinyURL was created!
The following URL:
http://www.brlug.net
has a length of 20 characters and resulted in the following TinyURL which
has a length of 24 characters:
http://tinyurl.com/6behc
Sure, it doesn't help for brlug.net, but if you wanted to be able to
post a url on the lug, but don't want it stored there forever.
Or for stuff like ticketmaster links that are 1 million characters then
it can be converted to a tiny url!
http://tinyurl.com/6p9h3
I just thought i'd pass it along.
