OpenBSD is robust, small footprint, runs on REALLY old hardware arguably better than Linux, and is in general more stable and secure.
Linux seems to be more the swiss army knife mentality, while OpenBSD does what it does really well. With the right tool for the job statement above, one thing that I always find amusing is that M$ solutions never ever seem to be the right tool... :-)
