This is really clever! Instead of running l0phtcrack for days to crack Windows NT password hashes, these people just computed all the possible combinations for character based passwords. And then made it available on-line. How nice of them!

And they say that they may create a database of _all_ character and numeral based passwords (~106 TB). Anybody know of a quick way to find the password hashes on an NT box? Or a small app for generating NTLM password hashes to check if this works? All of this reminds me of RMS's original plea years ago for not using passwords at all for the computer network he was using.
