Three years after making "security" job one, Bill Gates has mailed all windows customers begging them not to abandon legacy software. I saw it here:
http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3177851a28,00.html He sounds like a wife beater! It roughly translates as, "Please don't use that free software. I promise I will make it easier for you now. Please, Please, it will cost you so much money to leave me, please stay." As his software fills all my mail boxes with spam, I have to say that he did not keep his last promise to make windoze secure. Stuff thinks that this marks the beginning of a focus on free software. I can't imagine what more they can do, but then again I would never have thought of such things as the Apple Switcher, the FiaSCO, the BSA lawsuits against public school systems, MS Word formats, error messages for DRDOS, and the thousands of other devious things the marketing wizards at Microsoft are well known for. M$ delenda est.
