Why bother with boredom?  The average user can come home from work and get a 
message, "nothing interesting happened on your watch,"  and then dive right 
into the Love Boat that is the New Generation until your beeper goes off.  
From the game's perspective, you would only want to call on people who  
respond and keep calling until you get all the crew members required to run a 
scenerio.   People who then abandon their posts can be either injured or 
discraced.  

I wonder how they will deal with people who are intentionally disruptive.
