Thanks Adam, All of the low end sites have disclaimers on their cheap pc100 memory that says it only works with newer systems capable of a max 1 - 1.5 GB total memory, or only for VIA or AMD chipsets. I'm wanting to put this memory in an old Celeron 400mhz that only has two slots (each one can only take 128mb). It's not until you get real close to $20/each that the sites say you can put them in an intel or old machine. I always thought pc100 was pc100 memory, and they might just be tring to sell more of the expensive memory, but I'd hate to have to send it back and pay a restocking fee. Michael Adam Yates wrote:
