Honestly, if you only have the resources for one conference, you will
want 
to do USENIX LISA. The USENIX ATC (or just "USENIX", which is the
conference 
mentioned below) is an excellent conference, but very technical in
nature 
and is more research-oriented. LISA is more about hands-on training and 
practical implementations that come out of research.

You will meet very cool people at just about any USENIX conference. If
you 
aren't a member of USENIX (http://www.usenix.org) or SAGE 
(http://www.sage.org) I highly suggest that you run (don't walk) to
their 
websites and sign-up.
