Stallman is usually right about software and you probably agree with him more than you think. If all other things were equal, would you rather run a Free program or one someone else owned? That choice is obvious to me and from it I believe that all software should be Free software. I'm not going to write non free software because I'm not going to do something to other people I don't want them doing to me. Pressing "I agree" really bugs me. On a more practical level, there would be no Linux kernel today had there been no GNU. Where would Linus have been without a free compiler and all the other tools provided? Nowhere, but so what?
