I misread this as saying that this program "Finale" had a way to type
using music notation. Then my brain started thinking "What if I could
type using a musical instrument?"
Imagine if notes of different octaves were assigned a letter or
character. Would you start noticing patterns in your writing.
Imagine using something like a guitar to type, and for words like
"and" and "the" it would just be like a short riff.

For all I know, this could be something that already exists, but I
still think it would be cool, and would like to hear the music that
would be produced by writing a letter to someone... come to think of
it, on second thought it might sound awful!
