So, last Friday I was in a hotel room just outside of Roanoke,
Virginia.  I flipped on the TV and started watching the news.  When it
came time for the weather report, the weather display behind the
weather man (you know, the old blue or green screen stuff that the
person stands in front of and points...) had a windows dialog box up
that said that windows was out of memory.   There was another box
behind it that I couldn't read.  Anyway, he mad some stupid comment
about "anti virus, can't live without it..." .

I found that comment comforting and disturbing.  1) at least the
general awareness about anti virus is up.  2)  non-savy users are
blaming what are windows flaws on viruses.

Oh well...  Unfortunately it seems to be a winblows world.  I found
the incident quite amusing though.
