So, last Friday I was in a hotel room just outside of Roanoke, Virginia. I flipped on the TV and started watching the news. When it came time for the weather report, the weather display behind the weather man (you know, the old blue or green screen stuff that the person stands in front of and points...) had a windows dialog box up that said that windows was out of memory. There was another box behind it that I couldn't read. Anyway, he mad some stupid comment about "anti virus, can't live without it..." .
I found that comment comforting and disturbing. 1) at least the general awareness about anti virus is up. 2) non-savy users are blaming what are windows flaws on viruses. Oh well... Unfortunately it seems to be a winblows world. I found the incident quite amusing though.
