The more I use noatun, the more I like it. The KDE site does not do it justice, so I wrote a small and practical review:
http://www.phys.lsu.edu/~willhill/screen_shots/noatun/index.html Gimp starts a little slower than I remembered, but is usable and snappy once up. I've been using it since all I had was a 150 MHz media GX with 64MB. Version 2 is a little larger, but it's about as snappy as it ever was. How else would I get such snappy screenshots as above? Enlightenment comes with nifty open sideward widgets that Gimp will use, which keeps down clutter: http://www.phys.lsu.edu/~willhill/screen_shots/gimp_E.png
