Just wanted to let everyone know I went to Applix the other day and
picked up an old iMac rev. D 333MHz for $75. The guy working was very
nice, and $75 is about what you would pay on ebay I think (but you get
to support a local company that sells computers with linux preinstalled).

BRLUG/BRMUG members get 10% off!

Does anyone know if they have anything to do with CARC (the capital area
computer recycling place)? The spec tag looked suspiciously the same.

Unfortunately, I thought iMacs took normal pc100 ram, but they need
pc100 144pin (usually used in laptops). If anyone has a 256 or 512
pc100 144 pin stick laying around, I'd love to trade or buy it from you.

I know this is slightly off-topic, but OSX is what I'm trying to run,
and it is UNIX...

Again, I hope everyone is OK after the storm.
Michael
