Well, here's an update. I was reading this article about differences between gallaries... http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/G1-G2_Comparison The biggest difference is that the new Gallary2 uses a DB and Gallary 1 does not. So it seems that you must have a DB ready to be able to use G2. Which defeats the purpose of why I chose Gallary in the first place. I wanted something fast, easy, and with a small footprint on the server. But G2 looks cool, I may give it a shot any way. BB
