Speaking of "unprofessional attitudes", I don't think that the language 
in the petition is very professional.  I don't want my name attached to it.

Not to throw out any numbers but I'm confident they will not care about 
losing the business that corresponds to some small percentage, x% of the 
market.  Besides, if that x% has /*been* /using GNU/Linux then the 
printer companies haven't /*had */their business anyway.

Canon produces binary drivers in RPM format for their printers and i 
have had little success in trying to get them to work under CUPS.
