LSU is billing him as the inventor, but Wikipedia lists someone else. Anyone know for sure?
I just thought this was interesting... Looks like a hands on class for undergrads and grads. It's CSC 7600 + CSC 4999 section 14 - offered in spring of 2007. He's probably just a visiting professor, but I'm still proud of the LSU CSC Dept! If I was still in school, I'd take the class. Introduction and overview of HPC, Large scale applications and parallel algorithmic methods, Enabling technologies, System single node and parallel architectures and commodity clusters, Performance metrics, monitoring, measurement, and benchmarking, and Programming methods and tools for capacity and capability computing. -- Michael Dolan
