Behavior like this annoys me to no end...but I do see it's usefulness for some. Personally I would have installed Firefox and looked for an addon to do the job but I manage my addresses with the built in address book of thunderbird & share it with openldap. > For the money and features, I'm sticking with free software. Without multiple monitors I don't think I could work comfortably without virtual desktops either. I hear that ubuntu's ppc distro is quite nice as well(not that it matters for newer apples), though I have only tried a livecd of it I wasn't very impressed, but im not much of a gnome or kde fan. e ftw!
