The contract I'm working on is looking to hire a Novell Admin. The person who had this job is moving onto my team which opens up this position. The majority of your work will be working w/ Squid and Websense so the job title is a bit misleading.
---- Novell Systems Administrator We are currently seeking a Baton Rouge based Novell Systems Administrator to administer, design, implement and analyze forward and reverse proxy services for the Department of Social Services in the State of Louisiana. Provide technical support to the end user community and maintained a two tier forward proxy hierarchy running on 15 servers supporting 6000 users across the State. Forward Proxy services consist of 15 servers running Squid on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server Operating system. Reverse Proxy services are hosted with Novell's iChain on nine servers. Websense Enterprise content filtering is being used to filter internet traffic. Ongoing design and configuration changes are taking place to "custom fit" the product to the agencies needs. Secondary duties as the backup administrator for Novell's GroupWise email system. Email support of SMTP, GWIA, MTA and post office services running on Netware and SLES servers.
