I found it through mailman FAQ page and setup was pretty easy. the folks
at mail-archive.com took care of importing the archive through our
archive page. Its probably not the ideal solution but it sure was quick
to setup. The last stable release of mailman was in September 2006 and I
hope they have a search feature available in the upcoming release.

The mail-archive uses MHonArc archiving software, and PyLucene  search
library. They do archive all our emails minus attachments.
