The only thing that makes a difference is the IP address in the message body. I tried sending it here and I tried sending it to the CCCC general list and I tried sending it to a friend and I tried sending it to two addresses from the debian-people mailing list. Replacing the numeric address in the body of the message allowed me to get the same mesage through to my friend today. It's something that I've been doing to share with my family, the BRLUG and the CCCC mail list.
Really, I'm using plain text messages sent by Kmail through Cox's smtp servers. Nothing special or fancy. It's a text body email filter.
