What over-hyping?  You must travel in different circles than I do...  All
I've heard about Chrome OS is a press release and one blog post.  The only
reason it might be hyped is a) this is from Google b) there has been years
of speculation and c) it's new, as opposed to Windows 7 which is a service
pack for vista, which was a service pack for....  ad nauseum

My week in news has been about a 0-day for IE which is being actively
exploited  (does anyone really use IE for anything besides windows update
anymore?), an OpenSSH vulnerability which was a hoax, and the DDoS against
government sites using, *gasp*, compromised Windows PCs.
