The only reason it might be hyped is a) this is from Google b) there has been years of speculation and c) it's new, as opposed to Windows 7 which is a service pack for vista, which was a service pack for.... ad nauseum My week in news has been about a 0-day for IE which is being actively exploited (does anyone really use IE for anything besides windows update anymore?), an OpenSSH vulnerability which was a hoax, and the DDoS against government sites using, *gasp*, compromised Windows PCs. > Sorry, that's what I think.
