Apart from Lafayette, the pricing for high speeds are ridiculous.

Even the metro-E, while appear reasonably priced for companies, one have to
remember it is nothing else but access to the "loop". One still needs to buy an
internet access from the metro-E network and that is the expensive part. (2nd
connection point + the Internet access) Also, for one conenction speed, there
are at least 2 prices. If you need QoS, the higher one apply.

I would vote for HongKong pricing. 1Gb connection for $26/mo.

Thumbs up for Lafayette for doing something right. I bet It was not easy to
fight the incumbents on and off the court for 4 years.

So, you could rent an office in Lafayette and still be cheaper then Cox.. :)

http://www.lusfiber.net/custom/?id=16
10 Mbps (upload and download) - $64.95
50 Mbps (upload and download) - $119.95
100 Mbps (upload and download) - $199.95
Just sayin...

I think both Cox and ATT offer metro ethernet circuits in BR.
I assume it would be very expensive, but doable...
actually, if i remember correctly, at a previous employer, we had a
10Mbs for $800/month.
and I think 100Mbs was $2000/month.
