My brother-in-law bought one for personal use and in his route sales
business, but he returned it because available software was lacking. He
bought a Color Nook for personal reading use and is looking into buying a
Nook2Android microSD card for it.

A port of both Android and Ubuntu are reported to be under development. I
managed to snag one on Amazon. Should be here late this week or early next.
A friend has one and loves it. He also has an Android phone and says that he
prefers WebOS over Android. We shall see.
