I worked for Eatel support years ago. I remember trying to help someone on BSD 
once. We,  unfortunately, could not resolve the issue since they had a 
WinModem. I suggested an external US Robotics external serial modem. Hardly 
anyone using *nix back then, but we aimed to please.

I hated EATel so hard for pulling out of Livingston Parish back in the day. 
Even though they didn't support it, i remember one of their techs trying to 
help me figure out my dial up modem under FreeBSD.

If they still operate that way, I imagine it's a great company to work for.
