We were ok, as was most of the Shenandoah area.  Main issue was the area power outage for about 48 hours.  Result was no cable TV or Internet, despite generator.  Spotty cell service, of course, with AT&T but was able to occasionally use tethering via my iPhone.  AT&T landline stayed operational most of the time. Not using Linux much these days - just Raspberry Pi 3 and a usb-bootable Debian to play with occasionally.  Of course, I use PHP & HTML on my WordPress-based web site, with my own programming in places in addition to WordPress and plug-ins.
