Hi all, I am a Linguist working at LSU for the past year. I have been using Linux of some sort since around 2002. Sometimes for the pleasure of tinkering, but more recently for Linguistic/Speech related research and python scripting.
I saw BRLUG advertised somewhere, maybe Facebook, and decided to join. I would like to be part of a larger linux users/maker/educator community.
