This is kind of a minefield at the moment, and here's why: 1) I think most people would agree that serf needs to get more of a community and a focused goal before it can become successful. 2) Part of that might be solved in an Incubator, and part of that might be solved with more awareness of its existance. I don't really know or have any good ideas here. 3) IMHO, If we move serf to the Commons, we should probably consider it part of a "HTTP client utilities" subproject. The problem with this is in a way, APR itself is a type of Commons project. Is it even within the bounds of something like Commons to foster an APR-like community? (What about APR-Util?) -aaron
