Now that I know there's interest, I need to put together a real proposal on my side on how to do it. Since versions before 2.5 (which will be available in January) aren't meant to be used outside of our management (e.g., it's an ASP-service now, and versions before 2.5 are still pretty clunky on the installation & sysadmin side) I need to line up resources on CollabNet's side. Also, the trial run I'd like to run would be ASF-wide, not just for commons.apache.org, but I'd see the "Commons project" being either a project with lots of subprojects, or a category... Anyways, I need to evolve this from just suggesting it publicly to a real plan; give me a week or so on that. I want to catch up on all those reorg mails too to see if there's something my proposal needs to be improved to address. Brian
