It would be nice to refactor the sequence-id aspects of a project such as OJB out into a separate component which could be used anywhere. If it's small enough, I'd hope to put it in DbUtils, but I suspect it would not be small enough and ought to live inside its own component.
Would it also be possible to add the 'db' group to my user [bayard] on icarus? Hen
