Doc("docname.foo") will return the requested document, regardless of its
type (XML, text, binary).
XCC then lets you pull this off the returned sequence.

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] How to get non xml content using xcc
apis

Hi all,

Is there any copy command(XCC) for copying files from one location to
another location in marklogic.

I need something similar to Session.insertContent(Content) which is
there to insert content now I want to retrieve that content with a
command
Session.getContent(Content) or something similar to this.

I cannot use doc() since I want to retrieve non xml content............

Please give me some inputs regarding this.............Regards Venkatesh
