Mike, Making changes directly to configuration files is not supported. I do not recommend it.
In a future release, we will add the ability to manage MarkLogic Server's configuration by writing XQuery code. This will be a supported alternative to the admin UI, not direct manipulation of config files. This is so much easier and less error-prone than using the web UI to cut and paste all the fields, indexing parameters, phrase-throughs, range indexes and so on. -Mike ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://xqzone.com/mailman/listinfo/general End of General Digest, Vol 39, Issue 1 **************************************
