To add on, is this happening because of loading too much of content in the
forest, or is it because not enough memory is available with Marklogic
server or something else?

Initially I received an error (something like "No device space left")
when one of the forests I had created got down and while I was hitting
xquery over it. Other databases and forests were running fine at that time.
Also status of my forest showed the same error as one mentioned below.

Thanks,

Isha

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] What could be the reason that a forest
goesdown?

Please guide us why the forest goes down suddenly.

We are getting the following error on Forest: Documents page.

This forest is unavailable due to the following error:
XDMP-FORESTERR: Error in startup of forest Documents: XDMP-JNLNOTOPN:
Journal not open: /var/opt/MarkLogic/Forests/Documents/Journals/Journal1
(chkpntFSN=0, endingFSN=-1)

Thanx in Advance,

Regards,
/Ashish
