Yeah, those look to be out of date. Look a bit futher down:
Preferences
...
Data Sources
add a New entry in the 'Data Sources' table, you'll get a dialogue that
lets you select a name, a Type of MarkLogic.
Next add a New entry in the 'Connections' table, you'll get a dialogue
that lets you select a name, a Data Source (MarkLogic), and then a few
fields to let you select the XDBC host, port, username, password, and
so forth.
Once you set up the Data Source properly you'll find the connections
listed under that XQuery menu you were looking at before.
