Hi Florent,

For WebDAV, you need to setup a WebDAV client. You won't be able to access the
WebDAV server through a browser, and on windows, you need to setup access to
WebDAV through Network Places.

See pg. 41 of the Admin guide for how to setup the WebDAV client:
http://developer.marklogic.com/pubs/3.2/books/admin.pdf

As for cq, place the /cq dir under /Docs , then navigate to
http://localhost:8000/cq in your browser.

Hope this helps,
Pete

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Problem seting up WebDAV server and CQ on
afresh ML Server

  Hi

I have installed MarkLogic Server the standard way (using the
Windows 32 installer, without modifying setup options other than
the install directory.)

I tried to add a WebDAV server (I kept all default values,
except for the required fields.) When I try to connect via
Windows File Explorer or Firefox, I can authenticate, but I always
get a 404 (with both nobody and admin users.)

So I tried to install CQ from http://xqzone.marklogic.com/code/,
by copying the content of the archive into a subdirectory of the
MarkLogic Server install dir (into marklogic-server/cq/*). So I
tried to access CQ by http://localhost:8000/cq/ as documented, and
once again I got a 404.

Does someone have any clue about what the problem can be? Where
can I look for more information? I don't even know what additional
information I could send you...

  Thanks in advance. Regards,

--drkm
