there's a cookie library on developer.marklogic.com that was contributed
by a third paty, but it's full of bugs. i know this because i have
encountered many of them :-) and fixed them, but i'm not sufficiently
far through to repost an update yet.

i'll send you its current state off list. maybe you'll find some bugs
that i haven't yet :-)

ian

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] cookie header library

Is anyone aware of an XQY module that assists with setting,
clearing, and evaluating cookies being posted to the mark logic http app
server? Specifically, has anyone put code together that understands the
idiosyncrasies of rfc 2965 and rfc 2109? I need to set a non-expiring
cookie for a user's preferred language selection and hoped that parsing
of get-request-header("Cookie") was already available somewhere along
with code for sending Set-Cookie/Set-Cookie2.

        Thanks.

        Mark
